We’re easing back into this Monday, ever so simply, with oodles of doodles. This is a project for all doodlers  — big and small.

Color in a pattern pretty enough to frame or use patterned paper toweling to make dot-to-dots for the smallest of artists. With these, it’s simple to respond to “more” by placing two dots to connect on sheet after sheet for endless toddler dot to dot mazes. It’s great for fine motor skills, concentration and problem solving.

I’m a doodler but, I hadn’t seen this pattern in our paper toweling until I found our daughter uncovering the most beautiful doodle pattern that looked quilted. For bigger doodles, have your artists find their own patterns, just because.  Since these had a quilt like quality to them, we framed one by sewing it on to heavy card stock + slipped it into a frame. Why not use this artwork as origami paper or… to personalize doll bedding.  I’d love to see what your household doodlers come up with!
