Ballerina Balloon Snowman Garland:
With a daughter who danced ballet for year and who has a winter birthday, it seems only natural to us that our snowmen wear tutus. They do!  In fact, one year, we created a birthday party entirely around this idea.  I love a party at home; one that’s full of activity and reflects the personality of the birthday kid!

I’ll share more about this party later but, today:

Make Ballerina Balloon Snowman Garlands, with us!  “Roll” with us below for the full post and how-to:

I love to look at ordinary household objects and supplies to see what how we could make them special and this is project like this.  In fact, you don’t even have to wait for party. Pick up some white balloons when picking out groceries and make these snowmen, right now. I think they’re a perfect way to soften the cold and we hope that you do, too! (But, if you are looking for a winter birthday party. This was such an incredibly fun day!)

– Once you’ve twisted this shape, bind the head area by tying the a piece of string here.

– Cut a small piece of crepe paper and twist this into a cone shape to create the carrot nose.
– Place tape at the base of this nose and press into place.
– Draw Eyes.
20
– Measure tutu ribbon around the balloon.
– Cut to size.
– Cut and press double-sided tape around the snowman.
-Press tutu ribbon onto the balloon.
21

This is an example of a garland that we made where we alternated the balloons.
