After a very gray November, is it a wonder that we’re turning to lights + color? These are pure magic. Today’s post  lands perfectly with our first real snow yesterday and the upcoming holidays.

Light up your holidays with Painted Ice Lanterns. These are so incredibly beautiful and a lot of fun to make.  Come with me to learn how.

Our youngest son has been the best, steady, partner this season and has helped me a lot with decorating the house and creating between school + sledding on our lawn!

Todays’ Painted Ice Lanterns were an idea that took shape after an experiment with our original Ice Lanterns (here.)  The colours that we get when we paint ice are amazing. They can be layered and have this 3D quality to them that makes them extremely beautiful, making these new variations something we can’t wait to make again.  Come along with me where I’m sharing how to make these at Handmade Charlotte today.

Thank you for meeting us here. We love to spread a little bit of our world to you and, as always, I love to see what you do with these tutorials.

Willowday wishes.
